As one of our Test Engineers, you'll be an integral part of our engineering team, collaborating closely with design engineers and technicians to develop, support, test, and enhance our diverse range of avionic products and related projects. You will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of both manual and automated test equipment and software for manufacturing testing on our products. During the design process our test engineering group reviews design to ensure that design for test has been considered and implemented.

Core responsibilities of our Test Engineers include:

Crafting Solutions: Support the bring up, validation, and development of new test hardware and systems, ensuring our products meet high standards of quality and reliability.

Ensuring Excellence: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the operational checkout of systems under test, as well as providing training and technical support to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Driving Automation: Create test automation suites to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency, leveraging your expertise in high-level programming languages and tools like LabView NI.

Documenting with Precision: Create comprehensive test design documentation, including test instructions, specifications, drawings, and verification plans, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the development lifecycle.

Product Qualification: Create product qualification test plans and procedures to include the test fixtures required to verify a new product meets its hardware and system requirements.

Collaborating Effectively: Forge collaborative partnerships with software, hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams, contributing your expertise throughout a product’s lifecycle.

Optimizing Processes: Monitor yields and continuously improve production test processes to enhance quality, manufacturability, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

Nurturing Talent: Support the mentorship of junior engineering professionals, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth and development within our organization.

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a collaborative-minded engineer with a passion for aviation, possess a keen understanding of engineering principles, electronics, embedded systems, and functional test manual and automated strategies, and at least 2 years’ experience with test development using high-level programming languages, CAD tools, and LabView NI (or a master’s degree in lieu of experience). A pilot’s license or having general knowledge of avionics will set you apart as a valuable candidate.
